Wenus project presented at IRIC2025 conference

Dr. Ana Slavec attended the InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2025 (IRIC2025), held on 16–17 September 2025 at the InnoRenew CoE building in Izola, Slovenia.

She presented the project WENUS – Wood Education for Sustainable Construction: Empowering professionals and students to build a more sustainable future through innovative and tailored training in circular wood and timber construction.

During her presentation, she highlighted the project’s goals and shared with the international audience the developed educational framework, including the identified learning objectives and specific outcomes.

In addition, project partners have prepared a Joint Curriculum, which provides a comprehensive overview of the WENUS training course, including its structure, pedagogical approach and training methodologies. The course consists of four modules, each comprising a total of 15 units.

Dr. Slavec also presented the upcoming steps that WENUS project partners are currently working on.
